The project addresses the gaps in the current Tobacco Control legislation and Administrative Fine Law related to TC by strengthen effectively participation from on-site teams at public transportation places in effectively monitoring smoke free compliance and appling fines at public places. Center for Health Consultation and Community Development and the Institute of Public Health of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) in collaboration with the HCMC Department of Transportation and People’s Committee will develop a clear and feasible fines mechanism and its guides for implementation and document its process, evidences and lesson learns for replication and advocacy. The BCC and advocacy activities will be conducted at provincial level and national level.
