This is the kind of vaccine that will make a difference

Dr. Photini Sinnis, deputy director of the Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute in the United States, talks about the prospects for the malaria vaccine, which is expected to be widely tested in Africa next year. Nearly 430,000 people die from mosquito-borne diseases in 2015 and hundreds of millions of people get malaria every year, many never fully recovered. More progress has been made in dealing with this disease, and a new vaccine is expected to be tested first in Kenya, Ghana and Malawi.
