Consultancy for participatory video making training in malaria control and elimination in Dak Lak province.
Center for Health Consultation and Community Development (CHD) established under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association (VUSTA). CHD currently has 10 staff based in Hanoi and HCMC offices. For more information, please visit the website: www.chd.vn. Its mission is to promote a better standard of living for local communities through innovative and community-based interventions with an impacted focused and programmed approach. Some major programs are: Maternal and child health care, adolescent health; Preventing the spread of infectious diseases including HIV and AIDS, malaria, avian influenza; Preventing the spread of non – communicable diseases and Promoting gender equality and human rights, including gender-based violence, migration and counter human trafficking.
With the support of Global Fund through the Health Poverty Action (HPA), CHD is responsible for the communication component of project: “Malaria control for mobile and migrant population along Cambodia – Vietnam border, 2018 – 2020 period” in four provinces, namely Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc and Gia Lai. The communication component’s objectives are:
- To enhance capacity for village health worker/Malaria corners in personal communication skills
- Establishment an appropriate communication chanel for mobile and migrant populations
- To improve knowledge, attitudes and skills of mobile and migrant population in malaria control and prevention
- To proactively increase the access of health services for mobile and migrant populations
Goal and objectives of the consultancy:
The end goal of the consultancy is to guide for Malaria Corner staff to produce high quality video with the suitable contents related to malaria control and elimination in targeted project areas.
