Quantitative and Qualitative Baseline Survey End Trafficking in Persons (ETIP) Program in Vietnam

Description:

The program goal is to contribute to the mitigation of the human trafficking problem in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (Vietnam, Lao, Cambodia, Myanmar, China and Thailand) whereby increasing numbers of people are safe from the trafficking threat, survivors are provided with appropriate protection services leading to integration back into society, and government policies provide greater protection to the vulnerable and to victims.

CHD’s team was participated in this project as Lead Researchers. Main tasks were to train local data collection and data entry personnel to administer surveys and semi-structured interviews, lead and supervise data collection and entry – ensure quality control and conduct data cleaning and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, write Draft Baseline Report synthesizing quantitative and qualitative findings and submit Final Baseline Report.

The results of the baseline survey is used to develop a behavior change communication (BCC) strategy and BCC activities with an aim to promote safe migration and reduce risks of human trafficking for the ETIP Vietnam.
