We are accountable to our work

CHD is a non-profit organisation. Accountability and transparency are fundamental to our policies and our operations. CHD is committed to achieving maximum and sustainable social and public-health impact. Please see our link for previous evaluations of CHD projects.

We are offering services with high quality 

We are offering a range of specialized consulting services with high quality. We are members of professional associations, such as the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association (VUSTA) that provides an exchange of updated knowledge, expertise and know-how in our specialised areas. We encourage the professional and personal development of our staff. In our field work, we carry out the method of ensuring the needs of the community and meeting their needs with close implementation and monitoring.

We are partners

We are partners with the poor and donors in our shared mission. We pursue the relationships and cooperation with other humanitarian and development organisations. We practice a participative, open and enabling environment in working relationships. We are committed to strengthen the capacity of families, communities, and partners in our intervention programs.

We are committed to the poor 

We endeavour to give poor people a platform to step from fighting for survival, to working for a better future and staying out of poverty. Our Program Approach is designed to support impacts for identified marginalised and poor population groups, with research and analysis informing program design and ongoing development.

We are committed to the transfer and sharing of knowledge and knowhow to the poor and interested organisations through providing tools, information, behaviour-change communication materials and publications on our website and newsletter. Please see the link for our resources.

We are empowering women’s leadership and participation

CHD will place Women’s Empowerment at the heart of our work, expressed as an overarching focus on marginalized and vulnerable women in all long-term programs.
