Technical Assistance to the ADB Project on Promoting Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment

Description:

Project aim is to promote the economic empowerment of women, improve income generation opportunities, and reduce vulnerability to risks of HIV/AIDS and human trafficking.

A CHD’s team member was participated in this project as a National Communication Specialist. Main tasks were to support the development of gender sensitive behavior change communication (BCC) strategy and materials related to prevention of HIV/AIDS and trafficking, to conduct training and BCC campaign and to provide technical support to the Women’s Union’s BCC activities at district and commune levels.
